Try a "Truck Stop" if you are anywhere near one, or passing one on your travels ,they are a good source of such things if thats what turns you on, they even have little christmas trees that light up.

I bought some battery operated ones from the Avon lady. They are silver stars and are lovely and get noticed. Being battery operated they can be left on with no worries.

Read the label carefully if buying in a "truckstop" as most of their stuff is 24 volt, not 12 volt, designed for the heavyweight batteries in trucks.
I got a blue 12 volt rope light with a cigarette lighter plug on it in our local supermarket last year.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.

We bought some fab little ice cube lights and a candle arch - BOTH BATTERY OPERATED - from our local garden centre. Give them a try. Good luck!

Good for you KC.
I think battery operated ones are safer especially in a van.

I used to have a little 12v Christmas tree which ran off the cigarette lighter in my car. I think I still have it somewhere. Also a battery operated candle arch. Since we may be having rellies sleeping in our MH on one night over Crimbo, I might put a little tree up in there for them to make it more festive. Hubby thinks I'm nuts!
