is there a difference?? being in the process of buying a bongo and sorting out the insurance i am finding that some companies are quoting based on an "e bongo" import. is this the same as a bongo friendee(?) 1996??? most don't seem to know!!! also any names of good insurance companies would be appreciated!!! thanks
Try Lifesure they know all about Mazda Bongos.I had the same problem when I bought one with Norwich Union who just did not understand what they were at all.I did also try other more well known insurerers who were just the same, not a clue.
Are You a member of BongoFury Owners club if not I really would consider it as its an excellent resource for tips and advise about Mazda Bongos and Ford Fredas.
Did you have any luck with Lifesure? You can find other companies listed on the info pages of http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/bongo.htm. along with a host of information concerning matters bongo & the very freindly people who drive them.
You'll find that lifesure offer a pretty competitive service. I expect you can't wait to get your bongo on the road. Have you thought of a name for her?
Welcome to the wonderful world of Bongo. Be sure to visit the Bongo Owners website at www.bongofury.co.uk. You'll find all the answers to all the questions you are going to have about your bongo and you'll be able to find other bongo people in your area. You'll find we are spread all over the country.
Best regards & hopefully we'll meet up in the near future.
We found the website the other day, what a site!! We are going to the Isle of Wight in May on one of the sun holidays, so looking forward to a lovely drive down.
We havent chosen a name yet, what do you call yours?
Ours is called Monty as it's a Montague conversion ( 321 away, at Wokingham).
Yes we really tried hard to think up a suitable name!!
Worth putting a message out on the Bongo forum website about your trip, there is a section also for Hampshire & the Isle of wight. You may get to meet other Bongo's on the Island. I think that Lifestyle Conversions are also based there as well.
