Help !!!!

We purchased our Compass motor home last September from Brownhills and want to have "rear facing" seat belts fitted. I have been to the dealer; the chassis supplier and none of them want to help....Just come back from a main dealer of Peugeot and they said they can't assist

I have seen people stating that they have had lap belts fitted - but where did you go. I am in Essex, if that helps... Is it something I could do myself if I bought the lap belts??

Rgds Dave

A bit of a dilema Dave, I am in the same position as you and it seems to be a bit of a grey area, I bought a 6 berth with only 4 belted seats, which is fine most of the time as there are just the two of us but if we want to take anyone along I dont know how we stand legally, sorry I cant help you but I will follow this thread and see if anyone has the answers, there's bound to be someone on here that knows.

Regards  Tone

I don`t know much about it but I do know there can be issues about how securely belts can be fitted. If there are not any suitable mounting points there isn`t an easy way to fit belts.

Good luck.
