Ahh! Just spotted your in Cheshire, very well heeled, here on the other side of the Pennines a farmer bungs them in a field and parks his tractor across the gate!
Sorry for my confusion, how much does that cost then for indoor storage?
We must be lucky (fingers crossed),we have had our motorhome since December and it is parked on the drive,no one has complained about it although the neighbours have been quite strange as no one has even mentioned it!
It's as if it does not exsist!
We would be quite dissapointed if someone complained as we really would not like to put it in storage as we use it in winter and can just pop out to the drive and get it ready.
Our local storage place is nearby but it is outdoors so no real benefit in putting it there.
Youre lucky, most seem to be outdoor in yorkshire-perhaps there,s an opening for a bright businessman with a large warehouse and a couple of rottweilers !
A lot of farmers here in the Nottingham area are going over to storage in a big way due to the terrible state of the farming business. I have used two different ones, both under cover in now disused barns, Both charge about the same, £3 per week. I moved to my new place as it offered better security and also electric hook up.
Ya boo sucks to the stupid developers who put such silly restrictions in property deeds.
Most of the covenants are set up by the builders to ensure the development looks neat and tidy until all the houses are sold. After that they don't tend to worry too much about enforcing them.

I'd rather see a motorhome on a drive way than a load of builders rubble which is often left behind when they build these developments. It makes me wonder....why do they have a thing against them? Fair enough if they are old and rusty, but on nice housing estates, who is going to be buying an old heap of junk like that anyway. People who think that they 'lower the tone' obviously can't see past the end of their noses. I personally don't like seeing trampolines, ball hoops and fish ponds in people's gardens, but that doesn't stop people having them. Why pick on motorhomes? I've heard via the grape vine that my neighbour is not happy about my motorhome being on my drive, despite me having permission from the landlord to put it there (even though they later tried to withdraw it as some will remember). It's a vehicle, it's clean, smart, taxed & insured.....they don't have one - or a car....maybe a touch of the green eyed monster perhaps ?
Having it in storage isn't an option, as I'd still have to bring it here to load it anyway, and I don't want the added worry of not knowing it's safe. I pay rent for my garage and drive way, why shouldn't I be able to use it.

------------- Why live for tomorrow, when you can live for today and tomorrow is yet to come?
The builders are protecting themselves whilst the developement is still in progress so they can still sell houses, after they have gone I doubt they give a stuff!
As far as the green eyed monster syndrome, you are probably right,I think I have been lucky that my neighbours have turned a blind eye to ours, mind you the drive is at least 40yards long so no one overlooks it! I suppose there could always be one who moans and if they do I shall threaten to sell up to undesirable people that will keep em quiet!
