Have you tried any Caravan Club sites? Quite a lot of them are geared up for larger outfits. Access will be your main problem. Try the Camping and Caravanning Club too.
I guess you're not into roughing it;-) As has been said, CC best bet. Other than that, thing like fairs and steam rallies etc. are usually in big fields, and many participants have big vans and lorries.

I USED THE WORD WINNEBAGO LOOSELY AS WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SIZE OF IT AND THOUGHT I WOULD GET A LARGER RESPONSE, YOU ARE RIGHT IT IS NOT A WINNEBAGO, IT IS A DAMON DAYBREAK.
--I think the bigger your outfit-whatever it is-the more forward planning you need to do-are you touring in the UK or the continent?--there are plenty of UK sites that will take large motorhomes--get a campsite guide & phone the sites in the area you want to go --I you go to France you will find most towns have motorhome parking areas-look for sign-Aire de service campingcar-these are often free or very cheap & some have a drive over toilet tip-which I think you need for yank vans---Oh & dont take offence at folks attempt at humour-tis all part of forum life-give as good as you get--
Ah, now I get it- not too switched on of late. Well, you should have had plenty of advice now. I'm just happy to have a vehicle which I can park in a supermarket car park- I suppose everything is a compromise; you have loads of space and I have the convenience. On a long term holiday, I might get frustrated with the restriction of my van (although it has nor bothered me to date, my tent was no bigger and I was happy with that for many years) but you need to do a lot of forward planning and choose from a smaller range of sites. Good luck anyway, enjoy your dream.

I feel a lot of sour grapes in some of your replies so far have you tried a book called The Big Pitch Guide by Mo & Dick Kingswell its dedicated to american rvs
Disneyland Paris Car park is great if you plan on going to Disney, there are usually several of the larger vehicles parked up there. They have a section purely for motorhomes to stay over, including usual facilities.
Where abouts in the UK are you looking at, or is it a case of where you can fit in?
Try looking in the Alan Rogers guide, then contacting the campsite directly. One persons idea of easly fitting in might not yours
