Sorry, however, I could not help but laughed at his lack of attention to detail, for buying an air tent then expected to find a full set of poles with it!

We once left behind half the tent poles. Luckily it was a Pyramide (square bell tent type) and we’d got the central pole. Had a very droopy front porch for the weekend, but it taught us to put the pole bag back in the tent bag next time.
Wonder what wifey said to hubby when she found out about this disaster? (Though my OH would blame me for not telling him the lump in the bag was a pump.)
We were recently at a site and I noticed some new arrivals were clearly having problems erecting the awning. They struggled to thread it on the caravan (only got it half way and then they seemed at a loss with the poles.
Naturally, I walked over with my can of silicon spray to lubricate the awning rail and offer to help with the poles.
Imagine my shock when I was told to go away (or words to that effect)

I don't offer to help if there is more than one person putting up their unit.
I have had comments in the past when a gent walked past while I was putting up my tent, and said I clearly knew what I was doing so he would not offer to help; however, help was available if I needed it.
I must have given out some sort of "don't mess with me" kind of aura!
