Geoff, nice juxtaposition with the subjects, especially having the personal treasure up close with the national treasure setting the scene. I'm really bad at getting good people photos, I never seem to get the timing right. If I'd been trying a shot like yours I think I would have ended up with her either blocking the castle or looking like she's about to kick it down!
Have to mention the night sky pics....amazing! Autumn night sky has wonderful colours, but I admit I wouldn’t have thought to include a pic like that as a respresentation of autumn....well as I see autumn. I’d love to take night sky images like that. I have no light pollution where I live.
