A wealthy American lady decides to visit Ireland. Once in Ireland she likes it so much that she decides to stay for a few months. In order to be independent she wishes to rent a cottage. A suitable cottage is found and a viewing is arranged. It turns out that the cottage has very few mod-cons as a result of being in the countryside. "Where is the bathroom?" the lady asks so the property owner shows her the privy. "Yes that will do OK" the lady says "but there is no lock on the door!"
The property owner says "Oh that's not really a problem as I've lived in this area for over fifty years and as far as I know no one has ever had any s*** stolen
