Personally, I wouldn’t risk over the counter products. If they damage the surface of your teeth, you’re snookered, the tooth enamel won’t recover. If they make no difference, you’ve wasted your money.
My dentist does whitening; I can sue him if it goes wrong. Or he might say: nothing will make a difference because (whatever). Or, only veneers will achieve what you want.
You’re essentially bleaching your teeth.

I have 6 monthly checkups and annual hygienist session, works for me.Our electric toothbrush does a good job!

Powdered charcoal from Superdrug, gets rid of the coffee stains. The sink gets messy though.

Yup. Tannins in tea, same as red wine. The Repair Shop people use tea to stain new material for mending toys, to match the original.
