Keep hearing how great the programme is.
Tried watching it a few times but could never stand more than 5 or 6 minutes before switching off or over.

Terrible.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Not a sitcom fan, generally. (Was Ab Fab a sitcom? If so, that was the exception.)
Had to look up the plot: “Essex and Wales collide when Gavin and Stacey fall in love, bringing their friends, family and baggage with them.”

I'm not usually a sitcom fan either. Perhaps it was because we always used to go to Granddad's in Cardiff for summer holidays when I was little. Barry Island was the nearest seaside. The incoming tide scared me and I didn't realise that sea water was actually clear until we went to Anglesey.
