I overheard three lasses chatting in the pub and being curious about their accents I asked, "Excuse me, but are you three lasses from Scotland?"

One of them replied, "It's Wales, you fool!"

The trouble started when I said, "OK. Are you three whales from Scotland?"

In the same pub I was being chatty with a somewhat aesthetically challenged maiden. After a few beers she asked me why I was being called "Sledge by all my mates. "Was it because I was a smooth glider? she wanted to know.

I told her, "Nope! It's because I'm always getting pulled by dogs!"

I can only just see the keyboard now, before you ask!

The person who told this one,swears it's true....

In the pub, two girls were talking... one said, So and so has had her baby. It's a boy and they're calling him Mark, but spelled with a 'C'.
Other girl looks puzzled and says, you mean 'Cark'?
