I've been a member of UKCS for many yrs.. Its the most informative and friendly site there is. Anything you ever need to know about caravaning( in our case) is only a post or message away. No nastiness or sarcasm just lots of friendly people who know their stuff. The best time of the year is December when you host the amazing advent calendar. Thank you. It's a little bit of fun in dark dismal days. Gets me looking at all the other things on the site and fills me with excitement for the new adventures in our caravan the new year will bring. Long may UKCS remain the No1 goto for caravan, MH and campers.
I do peruse other camping related sites, but between the sniping unwarranted comments and blatant misinformation that circulates, they are rarely worth looking at.
I'm fortunate, mostly through my extensive professional engineering background which brings insight into many things and MANY decades of camping in various ways (you learn from your own mistakes!), in that I have a good knowledge of many things camping related, so perhaps more of a giver of info, than a seeker of solutions, but UKCS would be my first port of call if I were looking for help.
You may pose what you consider to be a dumb question that you should know the answer to, but a number of kind folk will likely give you support without insulting your ignorance - that friendliness is one of the things that sets this place above the others.
I'm a firm believer in acknowledging something/someone 'good', it doesn't happen enough, so happy to add to your appreciative comment of UKCS.
As to the Advent calendar, I was fortunate enough to win a substantial prize a couple of years back, so looking forward to this year's prize (hint hint! ) ..... fear not folks, I don't have a great track record of prize winning, so I'm unlikely to be depriving anyone else this year!
I won the Christmas Day prize several years ago. Lightning does not strike twice! But I’ll still click on the calendar each day to see if it’s something that I want to buy.
UKCS is how I check for sites wherever I fancy going. Only if they’re a bit thin on the ground will I check the Clubs’ websites. Other websites have far fewer sites listed than UKCS.

And so say all of us.
Indeed, thanks UKCS for everything!
