Being with a group of 20-25 year olds, one of who is buying tickets for a 'James' gig (for her and her mum) and everyone else at the table says 'who?'.
At which point I say I've seen them about 6 times!

Looking at a pretty girl in a crop top and thinking .....
Shocking! Definite sign your old, You're NOT ALLOWED to look at girls, pretty or otherwise, these days! And claiming concern for her welfare through attire, or lack of, is just not gonna cut it with the Judge, just PROVES you were paying too much attention!
Go acquire yourself a grubby raincoat at once, so everyone knows what you are at first glance!
Personally far too busy listening to the ever growing number of clicks and creaks emanating from joints, if not drowned out by the 'Oooohs and Arrrrgs' uttered in response to the discomfort from said noisy joints! .... pretty girls have generally long gone from sight by time I've recovered from noisy attempts to move, so I'm not at great risk of inappropriate or detailed study of them!
A young mechanic who fixed my car in a short time did not know what it meant by being a Scottie as in a Miracle Worker.
Having to look for hotels with lifts.
Having to request for hotel rooms with a walk-in shower due to reduced mobility in my knees after finding hotels with lifts.
Co-workers who were not even born when I started my professional career as a healthcare professional.
Allowing a comfort break after 1.5h's driving as a minimum.
Ladies I know who are younger than me having teenage gran-children.
Etc., etc...
No need for pill cutters for my personally, however, I need one for the dog as his flea and worm meds are big tablets that I have to cut into smaller pieces in order to wrap them in ham/cheese effectively to mask the smell.

Gripping the banister or handrail when going down stairs & steps: several female friends of my vintage now have rigid L-shaped metal plates in their ankle joint after missing the bottom tread(s). And my days of briskly going up two at a time are over.
I have a pill cutter and a pill grinder, a four week pill box and an app called pee.ie that shows the nearest toilets on Google maps. Then there is the sunflower badge and the free public transport. All a few months off hitting sixty.
To top it all the tweed flat cap.
I have a pestle and mortar for grinding the dog's flea and worm tablets already.
2 tablet cutters have been purchased - one for home and one for the van as I might need it for his worming treatment.
Better get a separate pestle and mortar for him too for the van!

I was out this evening with some co workers for a meal. After we had finished, someone suggested going on somewhere and my first thought was 'it’s past my bed time!'
