Weather permitting will be having a look this evening. Have also been following the solar activity for the past few months and observing the M and X class solar flares that have been showering the Earth with radiation and magnetic pulses. Hoping that another Carrington event will not take place.
Very interesting stuff.
I'll just have to hope the skies clear for tonight! Cloudy at the moment. Where do you monitor the solar activity please, dimbles? That would be interesting to see.
------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!
