As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Never heard of them. Google has plenty of articles reviewing them, so I dipped into one.
Personally, I’d say save your money & spend 20 minutes outdoors in “nearby nature”, standing or walking on real ground not an electrically charged one, whatever the weather. It costs nothing & there’s plenty of good research going back at least 50 years that proves the benefits to mental & physical health & wellbeing.
Like others, never heard of them, but then I'm not big on looking at 'Snake Oil' cures!!!!!! But having looked I'm alarmed at just how many on the market! There's a lot of gullible people out there!
The 'scientific' sales blurb is plain old BS! Our bodies are naturally full of 'electricity' and NEED to be, that's how our brain, nerves and muscles work! You can't separate one type of internal electricity from another with a mat! Static electricity build up on our skin/clothes is a different thing, and apart from the nasty jolt you get when it discharges to something that is earthed, never seen any scientific suggestion it is harmful - it's perfectly natural!
If I said "Dye your cat lime green, it'll cure your baldness", some would (you better not, I'd be round to put you straight with a word or two, and you'd probably not hear the second word!)! Of course it couldn't possibly work in any practical way, but the mind is a powerful thing, and if you deceive/distract yourself well enough you may perceive improvement - that's nothing like a real physical cure, just the power of positive thought improving your wellbeing, and that can be achieved in a thousand different (usually cost/gadget free) ways, like sitting or walking somewhere peaceful etc.!
Will they do you harm? Not likely per se as a 'device', BUT you are plugging yourself into a mains outlet earth pin, and that may have a risk if your house wiring has any faults! And I've known a few people have most of their 'electronics' destroyed by nearby lightening strikes travelling up the mains cabling! Most equipment these days is what's know as 'double insulated' meaning it doesn't rely on the earth connection to protect you, and there is indeed no connection to earth. That means the earth could be faulty and there would be little indication under normal use, only specific and dedicated testing would show it. Very small risk I grant you, but a bigger risk than not doing it at all!
IMHO, save your money, buy a good book, and let a bit of mental distraction do you the power of good.
I'd never heard of them either so googled it. What a load of rubbish!! Can't believe people fall for that nonsense, but then as Monty15 said: there's a lot of gullible people out there.
Good grief! Whatever next?? Only time I have ever found it necessary to "ground myself" is when I have been assembling computers, and the best way I found for doing that was to simply grab hold of the nearest water pipe or radiator. No cost involved! The only reason for doing that is because static electricity on the body can damage some sensitive semi-conductors.
It’ll take a few minutes to read this, but this is a .gov report that gives referenced findings, both for (circumstances that don’t apply to me, but might to others), and against (eg for some health conditions). https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3265077/
However, AI says “The main dangers of grounding mats involve electrical shock, especially if the outlet is improperly wired, there is a power surge [e.g. thunderstorm], or the mat itself is faulty.
Never heard of them and I am not going to buy one for the main reason that I wear Crocs nearly all the time except for in the bed - in theory, no electricity will flow through Crocs as they are made of plastic.

I am a croc wearer too.
No point getting them then, saving yourself some money.
IMHO, it is another one of those quackery pseudo science mumbo jumbo.

I've looked for "gullible" in the dictionary.
There's no such word!!
