Not a recommendation as I don't think she does it for anyone but friends and family, but I have a lovely picture of our last dog on our living room wall, and that was painted by someone I know. I hope you find someone, as a painting is a good reminder of lost pets.
I thought you’d done this for your previous dog?but I may be getting muddled up…
Plenty of websites & individuals on Google, pick the style you like. You can also print a photo onto canvas so it looks like an oil painting, at a supermarket printer, I think, or via a site that prints top quality photos (for exhibitions etc), though it would come with distracting background that you may not want. Any good professional photographer can use a digital program to change your photo into a black & white sketch, or get rid of the background.
I’d also highly recommend a photo book. You do them online yourself, a friend does one every year for the highlights & says it’s easy. She did one for us of our previous dog, using the photos I’d emailed over the years.
Thanks Fiona, I was going to do one of Charlie, but then Harry died..Just about ready to do one now. We were just talking about Harry, one time he wanted to get into the sea with seals, barking at a sea monster head (a rock in the sea on Anglesey), moaning to go walkies, pawing OH, the list goes on. Charlie was more intelligent and obedient, but not so funny.
There’s also paint by numbers sites available. Not sure where it was but my Daughter ordered one and painted it for our Xmas pressie last year. Came with the paint and a canvas. Looks great too
