We started our golden on Tails about a yr ago. She has always had a ‘delicate ‘ tummy. We looked around and thought we’d try Tails. Lots of good reviews. On the whole, we and she has been fine on it. No episodes of vomiting etc but she had put on weight. - nothing else has changed . I know she is 11 and has slowed down but I don’t want her to get too big. We don’t give as much as the Tails personal guide says.

Has anyone else had similar experience with Tails?

When our dog aged and had digestive problems, we used to cook a chicken, eat the best parts ourselves and she then fed on the remainder. Seemed to work ok with her.

Agree. With rice not kibble. And regular scrambled egg - the “wolf diet”.
We found “Tails” was a bit heavy sell & felt we were being guilt-tripped into buying it at a camping (or similar) show.
But if it works for your dog, keep with it!

Our dogs will eat chicken and then have a very runny tummy so chicken is no longer on the menu.
