For me personally, 2025 will be the year with the highest number of nights to date since I have my van in 2021.
Not going to France and Germany/Switzerland border anymore next year , as I cannot justify the added expenses for tunnel crossing and Animal Health Certificate due to changes in circumstances. The trip is postponed to 2026 so as to give myself some time to save up for it!

Think NY will be a non-event! No one I know is doing anything, so looks like I'm doing the same!
Nothing much fixed for 2025 with my trips except my annual rescue dog w/e camping rally in early Aug, think I'm rather expected there on account of organising it!
Really want to get to Northumberland this year, so may make that my 'special' trip.
Not sure I can go a year without a spell in my beloved Lake District, so I guess that's a couple of weeks accounted for.
Quite intent on not making this years mistake again, of putting off trips until weather improved, 'cos it didn't much, and I didn't use the van anything like as much as I wanted to, first trip away was June, which was far too late in the year really for first outing!
Got a couple of jobs to do on van before next use, new gas regulator (Age!- needs replacing on that alone), and a new battery, again age (7 years on the van) and now showing signs of dying.
Monty - I am going to Northumberland as part of my Scotland trip next year!

Not a region I know at all, save a day trip to Lindisfarne from the Lake District about 30 years ago! Got to do the whole planning thing from scratch, where to pitch van, where to visit (that's dog friendly!) etc.
But it's been on my 'must visit' list ever since I got the caravan back in 2018. Like the idea of not many people, vast empty beaches, and dark skies!
Any of your research (I KNOW you'll have done loads! ) that you care to pass on would undoubtedly be appreciated.

Not done any research about the area, however, a friend recommended Dunstan Hill C&CC and he visits Northumberland regularly.
That's where I'll be staying on my way up to Scotland for a few nights in July 2025.

Just came home from the last trip of the year, and shan't be out in the van until March 2025.
New Year's Eve was so good that New Year's Day was a blur.
I have no recollection of what I did once I got back to my van from the pub at early hours of the morning.
Good job the campsite was right next to the pub, which was the main reason why I went there, and it has very good facilities for a pub site.
I believe the pub and campsite are owned by the family business, with large orchards and another campsite further away where their ciders and perries are produced.

Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
