I’ve finally taken the plunge and bought a small air fryer to use(predominantly in the caravan) I’ve searched on here to see if anyone has posted any recipes, but my searches were unsuccessful. Does anyone have any tried and tested recipes. Many of the recipes I’ve seen are suited to a kitchen not a caravan… lots of ingredients, herbs, spices and space etc.

Like yourself we have a small air fryer in the caravan, but we use it differently to the one at home, for 2 reasons - the one in the caravan isn't big enough to do large dishes but also our cooking in the caravan tends to be during warmer months or in warmer places, so our eating habits are different.
Hence, we tend to use ours to cook meat simply, usually chicken fillets, salmon, sausages, etc using some simple spice or herb mixes and then have a side to that, maybe a bought or homemade salad or pickles or fries bought from the campsite. If it's colder sometimes we cook the meat in the air fryer but also fry veg or cook pasta on the hob. Couscous is great in the caravan as it doesn't need cooked as such, just heated in water. Italian primo / secondo system works well here too, heat a soup or pasta for a primo then cook something in the air fryer for a simple secondo.
The easier the better in the caravan we have found, no point in spending loads of time trying to recreate home dinners.
We have a small air fryer in the caravan and as above, tend to keep things simple and use it for cooking meat etc - and oven chips are so much nicer done in the air fryer.
Saves on gas if using the site's electricity which has already been paid for.
Us mine all the time...At work, at home in the caravan.
One tip I would give is, line each time with tin foil, no need for fancy baskets just plain old tin foil in bottom lipped up. Saves hell a lot of cleaning and mess. Just throw away after each use.👌👌👌👍
Quick and easy one for you. 1 or 2 chicken breasts, spray some oil on the chicken, give liberal coating of Swartz garlic salt. 25 mins 180 turn with tongues and 5-7 more mins on other side done ...😋😋😋 pkt Tilda rice microwaved and a tomato...
Delicious..😋
They are so easy and convenient... after a few meals only, you will be an expert🍺
Thanks for the advice. The garlic chicken sounds lovely.

Sorry my bad……Tongs.
Tin foil no probs……….👌
“ Aluminum foil can be used in an air fryer, but it should only go in the basket. Acidic foods react with aluminum, so avoid using foil when air frying tomatoes, peppers, or citrus. Using parchment paper or a bare basket is better because it won't interfere with cooking.”

Not much help as I seldom use my airfryer at home, mainly to heat up oven chips and onion rings. It is small with a 1.5L basket just right for what I need.
I don't use one in my van as I don't have much room in the tiny freezer compartment in the Dometic fridge/freezer, so no room to take frozen chips and onion rings with me.
If I were to use an airfryer in my van, the dishes I would consider cooking would be chicken thighs, chicken wings, belly pork pieces or shoulder steaks, salmon/other fish steaks, fish fingers, burgers, sausages, meatballs etc..
I can do all that on the hobs or in the mini oven if the weather is not favourable for BBQing outside.
For starch, potato wedges and garlic bread (the latter in tinfoil then open up to crisp up towards the end).
IMHO, items with wet dripping batter are not suitable in the airfryer unless it is contained in a dish. I have read about peeps successfully cooked toad in a hole and even baked cakes and bread in an airfryer.
Still need a hob to cook vegetables/rice/pasta/etc. IMHO.

Neither of us like dry meat. How do you keep chicken breasts juicy in an air fryer? Or don't you?
Score the breasts, marinade first, then cook. May need to brush with more marinade during cooking.
Personally, I don't buy or cook with chicken breasts and prefer to use thighs instead.
If and when I roast a chicken which is very rare, the breast meats go to the pets.
I would rather roast a pack of chicken thighs - no waste as I would eat the skin (the pets never get the skins) and share the meats with the pets, and I save the bones for making stock when I have enough of them.

This is a good source of recipes and you dont need a Ninja to use it

As for liners i just use grease proof paper cut of the roll to about a 3cm over lap of the crisper plate, then put the plate on top of the paper and place in the basket / drawer and just gentle pull the paper up on the sides so you still have air circulation under the plate.
When cooked all you need to wash is the plate as the paper goes in the bin.
Never use spray oil you can get ion shops in the fryer or anything with non stick surface, i just put oil in an old oil spray bottle.
