OH wants to get one for his brother who was in the Met Police. He was run over and killed in 1993. He was on duty, but it was an accident. Not sure if this qualifies, does anyone know?
Name might not be correct because I think it’s the Elizabeth Cross, not emblem. I don’t know anything about police medals, but this one doesn’t apply:
“ The Elizabeth Cross and Memorial Scroll are granted to the next of kin of UK Armed Forces personnel who died on medal-earning operations. They're also given to those who died as a result of an act of terrorism.”
