circumstances mean that we cannot keep a dog of our own at the mmoment so we have started fostering for a rescue, and its brilliant - yes you do fall in love but you know at the end of the day you are doing a fantastic job and then they go to a new forever home (hopefully)
we are on number 6 in 4 months and have been lucky to pick some of them up and also take them to their new homes - wouldnt swap it for the world

------------- Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Took my first foster away this weekend, with my own two dogs, considering she's spent five years in a barn, and I've only had her 10 days, she settled in so well, definitely helps the ex breeding puppy farm girls to have a resident dog/dogs to learn from, she smelt all the smells out on walks even wagged her tail , sadly she's had an application put forward to adopt her, BUT that's what I'm doing it for, to get her ready for her new life with her forever home.
I know she'll be ok, one of my own dogs is a ex puppy farm rescue and it took awhile but she's blossoming and she was more shut down than the little foster I have in now, will probably shed loads of tears if it's all successful and she leaves me, but then I can open my home to another needing foster, and that's what I'm doing it for, for them.
------------- "I'm a fool for my dogs"
Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
How do you think i ended up with 5!!! only ever meant to have 2, the other 3 are failed fosters, i double checked with both clubs before i decided which one to join, i have gone with the cc&c purely because apart from one site they have no problem with us using a Transit as our towing vehicle, and they had no limits on dogs
