I notice you don't have a location dogruff but from what you state are your forces (if you are indeed in the force) response it sure as hell isn't the thames valley forces response which I will grant you is one force that is well below its needed strength. I do actually have input to various groups here but is not for an open forum discussion. My point which is NOT against police is that I will do what is necessary to protect me and mine and it certainly won't be to shake hands with a bloody criminal (unless I have some kind of taser in my hand)

Never knocked the police Dogruff......the hug was in reference to the Government.

Some people feel it's necsessary to protect there belongings, due to MASSIVE government cuts there is not the Police resources there used to be.

I do not live in a great area, so belongings are far more likely to get stolen, if I catch anyone on my property I will definately "hang em high"

 

No single persons opinion is ever the right one for everyone else !

Why should our country support any person that stoops as low as the thieves by setting a trap causing serious injury?
I thought decent people were more civilised.
If this was allowed we'd live in a country of bordering on civil war.
Perhaps it is better to shoot them and save the taxpayer a lot of expense! We were allowed to do that in SA if they broke into your home.
