Slightly off topic but think Scotland could be in for a bad winter - the rowan berries came early and are more than plentiful. The last twice there were so many we'd had horrendously cold winters.

I sometimes get the feeling that they could not accurately predict yesterday's weather.
It is very frustrating when you look at the local forecast and it it tells you glorious sunshine and it is actually tipping it down - or vice versa when you have decided against something because of the forecast.

I love it when people knock the Met Office, when challenged to do better they usually shut up sharpish.

I think the showers and storms in the SE were very localised though.

I visited my aunt in Sutton yesterday and they had the most enormous thunderstorm. 3 miles SE of there, it stayed hot and sunny.

I love a good thunderstorm and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think that I might like a shot at it, with their salaries and funding of course!

After all they are not a charity so why should't they be held accountable for their actions? just like the rest of us?
