I have a friend in Ohio, near the Pennsylvania border. They got away lightly, a couple of dead trees came down, but that meant they don't have to take them down themselves.
They were most worried about their horses and donkeys, but they spent the night in the barn and seemed pretty relaxed about it all.
Their power goess off at the drop of a hat, so they got all prepared with fuel for the generator, batteries for the camping lamps, kerosene heater etc and the leccy stayed on, much to their surprise .They didn't even lose their internet or mobile signals.
Awful in NY and NJ though.
