Virgin is OK. I prefer sky wireless but virgin have the best download speed's but let down with their wireless. Virgin TV is absolutely horrible and slow.It is up to you really but virgin has better download speed sky has faster wireless and better TV. I prefer Internet that is why I use virgin.
We have had sky fibre for a year now. It is in fact bt engineers who come and fit their box and master socket and switch you at the green street box. you just plug the sky router into it. Had a few probs with low speed in January but great otherwise. They give you an estimated speed (that gives a reliable service). Ours is typically about 17 Mbps download. You can get a wireless router to plug in your sky box to get the on demand stuff. You also get cloud wifi when you find a hotspot when you are out, I suspect bt hotspots are of a greater number though.
