I had a similar dent appear on my car, and i ended up with it parked with the dent facing the sun for a couple of hours and then reached under and pushed it back

I think its too low down for a tow ball. Given where it is, unless you are a religious sunday morning polisher, and looking at the car id say not, it could have been there for yonks.
My money is on a dwarf wall/post around a car park or similar. On a plastic bumper, you would feel nothing edging too close to one.

Definitely caused by parking on the pavement. Looks like the front of a push chair has hit it or the foot of the child in the push chair. Mum or Dad was probably distracted using mobile at the time.
