You don't say what device but I find that Google Docs / Google Sheets etc works well on my phone. .

I was about to ask the same Q.

My laptop has MS Office Starter on it (plenty good enough for what I need). Can't speak to iOS but our android phones and tablets have the free lite MS apps on.

Mainly I'd create/edit/save on my computer but I like it that they sync.

The Play Store has Word, Excel, PP etc.

Re-seller price on Amazon, download - £13.64.

Microsoft price on their GB Store, download - £389.99.

Open Office works fine for me.

If you're involved in education at all (teacher, student, TA, lab tech etc) there are massive discounts available legally on MS stuff.

If there are any compatablity problems, save the document as a .RTF doc. It should open in most progs.
