Not my experience though. 8yrs & 80k miles with just servicing from last Berlingo so I bought another last March. No warranty issues at all so far. Seem to be plenty of 'quality cars' like Volvos with faults though if you read the internet. In fact every car ever made seems to be faulty if you read the internet.
So possibly as said all cars have problems but most are ok? Nobody is going to be full of praise about a car that does not go wrong. They will only complain when it does go wrong. Another thing that makes me smile is the constant reference to generic faults that occurred on cars 10-15 yrs ago as if they still affected cars today. Technology does not stand still.

The worrying thing, if the bonnet catch had failed it turns out my insurance might have been invalid as I had received the recall warning.
I really hope no one else is in that position.

Greg
Wonder how anyone would stand if they had purchased a second hand car and the previous owner had ignored the recall would insurance be invalid ?
