It's not raining here (yet). If the Met Office is to be believed, we may have good weather in the SE w/ c 8/3 when we hope to get away.
Excellent. We heading down to Essex that weekend (family) before heading west for a few weeks in Wales.
Where in Wales? We like most parts. Looking at Burnham on Crouch for our week in March but we will be going to the Gower Peninsula sometime this year.
Currently planning possible route. First we mark the Aldis & Lidls on the map Then castles, historic sites etc, then potential campsites, aires etc. Nothing will be booked until we're on the move so we can alter plans at will.

Someone who books even later than us then. We never usually book any camping holidays until a few days before for the same reason as you.
Wednesday's weather is supposed to be fantastic here this Wednesday. Sunny and 17 degrees! We are just over the Essex border into Hertfordshire, it's about a mile and a half away.
Snowdrops are looking beautiful at the moment - but they’d look even better if the sun just came out. No rain, just daily gloom. Not particularly camping weather, though my family’s policy was always “a change is as good as a rest”. But the downer is the short hours of daylight until the spring equinox tips the balance.
Daffodils have started to appear along my usual dog walking route near me, in time for them to be nicked and presented to mothers in the neighbourhood, which was what happened in the past!
