I just shower with my back to the wall, leaning against the button. And for the caravanner who doesn't understand why some of us use the site showers - I have a shower in the MH, but we don't use it. Why empty the water tank unnecessarily? as filling it means unhooking the MH from the EHU and manoevering up to a badly sited tap - we don't have those wee water rollers. There's usually much more room in a site's shower cubicle too. And they usually drain - our MH drain pipe is almost level, so the soapy water stays in the shower tray all day. Oh! and I have to clean the MH one, whereas someone else cleans the site showers. A no-brainer, really.
I'd agree with no brains. I had a motorhome, but didnt have to keep unhooking it to fill up. If you put your mind to it its easy enough to keep filled up.
But, if you dont mind showering in someone elses scummy suds, trailing around in your dressing gown, and generally hoping you have enough time/change and theres no queue a couple of times a day (when its warm), far be it from me to question the whys and wherefores of others. (but i will).
Shower with a friend - cheap, they press the button AND wash your back and it's generally quite pleasant! BUT you can get a few funny looks when a woman walks out with you!
Some folks talk as if they need a rest and sit down after having to push a shower button . All I do is press the button every few seconds as I move about washing myself and the shower runs constantly.
I don't need to see the button if I have soap in my eyes..I know where it is.
Some obviously see it as a chore but there are good reasons for push button showers on sites which I am sure most people will understand.

You get even funnier looks if a bloke walks out with you!
