If some people's brains were made of dynamite they wouldn't have enough to blow their noses!!!
If I can get away with not driving in extreme weather I don't but if a journey is absolutely necessary i.e. step son being admitted to hospital again, there are blankets, a flask of coffee,energy bars, etc etc, inside the car with me, if you hit bad enough snow you might not be able to get out to get to the boot.
