Well, monocular arrived today and then was packed up again and sent back...what a load of tat!
There was a hair or a bit of wire/plastic on the inside of the object lens and the lens did not seem to unscrew so I couldn't get it out, and there was some sort of distortion in the ocular lens which caused a milky sheen on one side. When I held the monocular up to the light and slowly turned it there seemed to be a moon shaped blemish in the ocular lens.
Thank fully Amazon are pretty good at returns and I got a postage paid label to send it back for a refund.
A shame really because it seemed like a good monocular and had good reviews but of course muggins here got sent the duff one!

Thank you...an excellent website but unfortunately they only have one monocular under 40 quid and that is too expensive for me. I only want one to add some interest to my walks...something to play with really...so I would rather stick to less than £25. I probably won't get anything fantastic for that but at least I expect the lenses to be clear of faults. I already have a pair of binoculars which are ok but wanted to flog those and get a monocular which are less bulky.
