My wife makes sure everything that comes into the house is wiped down with anti bacterial wipes. Including each individual item in the shopping bags.
A lot of handwashing going on for us both.
Its the same with the post we get, one opens the letter/package and the other takes out the letter/item.
The packaging is put in the outside bins right away and more anti bac wipes and hand washing.
Changed days from rolling about the station floor with an unwashed, spitting drug addict who thinks he is superman.
Yes I am glad to be retired
unfortunately anti bac wipes are of absolutely no use, she needs to wipe stuff with the hand gel containing alcohol to kill the virus, ant bac only works - well on bacteria which covid 19 isnt
You are probably right but better than nothing I suppose.

I've been dicing with death today. The courier brought us two cases of wine (Portugal and New Zealand) and I put them into the wine rack without hosing them down first.
Then if was off to the shops. Social distancing seems to have become very lax, but the shops were all quiet and loads of sanitiser available. Petrol and diesel up 2p. at ASDA.
If the weather is OK tomorrow, we'll go to the fishmongers. I should really cut the grass, but we fancy a coastal walk.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

Anti-bacteria wipes contain bleach and will kill what ever it
come into contact with.
Hand sanitiser is Alcohol based, usually 60% or more with added
moisturiser to stop the skin drying out and kinder to hands.
Bleach is the last stuff you want to use on your hands but
if needs must.
The clue is in the word, anti BACTERIAL. No good as they don't kill viruses. We (well, I) go to the supermarket, things put away and left, not wiped down, hands washed. I am still here...
Please everyone keep up your own personal hygiene regime.
Covid 19 is not bullit proof, Bleach will kill it has
will anti-bacteria wipes,Alcohol based Hand gell and thorough hand
washing.
Wipes from our kitchen.
The Blurb
Wilco "anti-bacterial wipes" kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
Aldi's homebrand kills 99% of germs and bacteria
including Flu "Virus" H1N1
Stay safe everyone, the lockdown is lifting but the virus is
still with us.

Yes you are probably right but as I have already said, its better than nothing. After 3-4 months of using the wipes we are also still here. The clue is in being able to post

and the probability is that you would still have been here doing nothing at sll, ok you might think your helping doing what you are doing, and it fills your day in, but your not killing any virus, and on the other end of the scale is my mother in law, who has also been shielding and just takes the bags into her house, unloads then as normal and she is as fit as she ever was. my best guess is that you simply haven't been exposed in your 3-4 months and its got nothing to do with your shopping or mail cleaning habits
