I've had 3 calls for Brian Harvey today on both my mobile and landline phones. I am not Brian Harvey, he does not live here, Brian Harvey does not exist. This is becoming telephone stalking!
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I've just been called to be told I have crypto wallet under my name and only I can open it. When I said "So what!" she seemed to lose interest and cut the call.
Whatever this thing is it's not mine, I don't want it and I'm not paying to access it.
I find that scam calls tend to go in batches. For 3 or 4 months we will get several a day, usually all from different numbers, then it dies out for a while with none at all. After a few months it starts up again and I have no idea how or why this happens.
My way of dealing with them is just to let them go to answering machine if I don't recognise the number but pick up if I recognise the voice when they start to leave a message. Scammers don't usually leave a message. I used to block the numbers but I no longer bother, as scammers seem to have got wise to that one and now seem to be able to fake any number they want anyway. If you block one number they just try a different one.
Legitimate companies rarely use mobiles so with me unknown mobile numbers are even more likely to get ignored.
We had a spate of them a few years ago from Space Kitchens, who would ring up on a weekly basis and extoll the virtues of a new kitchen. Told them not interested. More calls. Told them we had recently had a new Clive Christians kitchen. More calls. In the end I invited their salesperson to call at 7pm on a Friday. They came to the front door with their shiny clipboard and brochures. I answered it with a jug of gravy and the dog, an Alsation on a short lead. He looked at the gravy enquiringly. I said the gravy is going on the dogs dinner. I have told your telephone people that we are not interested multiple times to no avail, so you have now had a wasted appointment. He swore a lot about me wasting his time. I said if your telephone people understood the word "No", you wouldn't be standing there. If they ring again we will make another appointment. Would you like me to let the dog go? He shot off at an impressive speed and they never rang again. By the way the dog, though large with a lot of teeth, really liked people and he was never in danger of getting eaten, though he might have been drowned in slobber.
