We went to a Fullers pub near the docks in Portsmouth. No service and you had to pay for the food before you got it. Food was over priced and disgusting. Everything that the OP hates!
On Wednesday we wwent to a Fullers pub, Carpenter's Arms near Bransgrove in New Forest. Pleasant people serving you and everything put on the tab until we were finished. Excellent food with good service!
If you are staying at the CC New Forest Centenary site and want to eat out, thsi is the place to go. Also good reviews on Tripadviser1
