I love lots of Wenlock! Newcastle upon Tyne is best viewed vanishing into the distance in the rear view mirror!
Whitby is lovely, York is fine but parking is a pain. Beverley likewise.
Pocklington is a charming little town with plenty of dog friendly eateries and the Farm shop a mile out of town has a brilliant campsite run by a motor homer, does good brekkies reasonably priced but has the disadvantage of free range children!
