Has anybody done the UK mainland four cardinal points, North East, South, West?

I realized I have done them after 20 years. ( not trying just happened to do them). P.s. Lands End and John O Groats don't count.

Ardnamurchan is fantastic, slept in the view point beneath the foghorn, mid January. Absolutely deserted feel about the place then, with two tins of McEwans and bottle of single malt... That sounds like a right wino. I also had tunnochs tea cakes! ;-)

Having googled these, we are both now gobsmacked that the most westerly point is in Scotland!

I've been to the Lizard and Lowestoft, but not to the Ness itself. We will be going to the east coast in the not too distant future, so will make sure we remedy that.

Ardnamurchan looks fab.
