I was looking for a pannier rack and bag for the mountain bike. I was bidding on a well known site with out any luck. I went for a walk tonight and I popped in to Pound Stretcher and got a rack for £7.49 and a bag for £7.49 both reduced to half price. I was bidding far more than that for used stuff. It's taken me all night to put it together and fit it to the bike but I am so pleased can't wait to get out tomorrow. Now I have a place to carry all the junk.
Well done indeed. We often use the pound shop ....We got a table 2feet by 2 feet with folding under legs for a pound when they did a refurb of there store...Recently we got 40pegs, set of enamle plates, several size plastic boxes for food with sealing lids, thermal hats,socks,gloves, all a pound each......But i did leave a box at a campsite containing the same as above so its only fare .lol.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
