were of to ipswich to collect some vw spares,

is there any where that is a must see part of the city,
the river front..?
anywhere cheap to park...it will be on sunday

You could park in Duke Street, Quayside car park(£2.80 iirc)nr waterfront & stroll for an hour, charges apply 7days. Be very careful where you park or even stop for a few mins, dangerous gorillas skulk in the shadows, they are armed with wheel clamps & they show no mercy. The best advice might be to collect your spares & leave by the shortest route.

Just a heads up that Sunday is the Ipswich half marathon, not sure of the route but that might affect the town centre.

The quayside is lovely now, great shopping too in Ipswich.
