Went out for a meal last night in Wellington and it was bitterly cold. Frozen windscreen in pub car park 11pm yet when hubby left for work at 5am this morning it was absolutely tipping down with torrential rain - never expected that!

We are in Yeovil. It has melted now, not cold enough to stay any length of time. Where do you work Lynne? I am beyond you in Pedwell so have remote desktop set up now so I can work in adverse weather.

I'm the IT manager at the surgery. I was diagnosed with MS earlier this year so I've got remote access so I can work from home some days. It might be a god send if we get another snowy winter. It took me over an hour to get from my house to Mole Valley farmers one day when we had snow. Babylon Hill was a nightmare! The snow is just about gone from Sherborne now.

Sorry to hear that Lynne, remote desktop should be a godsend for you then. Yes Babylon Hill can be fun huh!

Not here it isn't. It's a glorious day with blue sky, fluffy white clouds and lots of sunshine, and fairly mild in comparison to the last few days.------------- Tigermouse

Not here! It's been a nice day with plenty of sunshine, quite pleasant in the sun, but pretty cool in the shade.

Here we go again - it doesn't seem 5 mins since we were having snow reports!
Unusually we have not had rain today in this part of the NW - in fact its been quite sunny, if cold, we had a lovely walk in Lyme Park today!
