We bought our caravan to live in in July and since then we have gone through so much with repairs, learning the ways of caravan life and how things can, and don't! work. We're in our early 20's, and have started a blog to share our experience with others, and share a few laughs!

Good grief, what a damp van. Hope you are all sorted, I think the fix it crew use sikaflex not silicon though but do check that. I think silicon dries hard allowing seepage to carry on?

Yeah I heard about Sikaflex but wasn't sure where to source it, and I'm not sure how frostproof the silicone is either. A job for a sunny day!

Post over on caravans, repairs and the fix it crew will help. We used tiger seal on our first van to seal off an aerial entrance, acquired from a car repair wholesaler.
