I have a lot of trouble with java in firefox.

I assume that is installed / up to date

have you cleared all the cookies?

Its seems odd that it wont let you past the login screen - that suggests your details are incorrect.

I'm reading it that RR isn't even getting to the login screen, as the page won't load. That shouldn't happen with a new browser installed with standard default settings.

RR, has online banking ever worked for you?

If you go to the website whatismyipaddress.com it will give you a number along the lines of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xs are numbers in range of 1 to 9.

I've never heard of a bank asking for an IP address. If they need it to send a test ping, the least they could do is explain how to find it. It'll be their IT Dept I'd guess, so they should know that most domestic connections aren't static - they change. Very curious.
