I know I moan occasionally about not having a man around, but I think I would find it difficult to accommodate one in my life.
I'm always busy, have good friends and am always doing something.
It takes effort to "date" ,, and as you enjoy riding your bike, I enjoy working with the horses and generally enjoying myself !
So unless someone comes along and literally sweeps me off my feet, I am happy with my lot, at the moment. Maybe I'm too lazy date!!

I feel exactly the same. When my ex left four years ago after fifteen years together I was absolutely devastated and the first twelve months were awful, but when I passed my driving test three years ago my confidence went through the roof. I now drive anywhere and everywhere and thoroughly enjoy camping solo; I like my own company and I've got used to the freedom of doing things on my own. To have a man around now would be an inconvenience, I'm quite happy with my life as it is just now. (Unless I meet someone who looks and dances like Patrick Swayze in his Dirty Dancing days!) lol

i could not live with out a woman in my life ,,,,,,,,,who would whosh my undies ,do the hovering ,cook my food ect,,,glyn.
I have had two relationships since my divorce...One really short...Maybe about six weeks...The other about 3 months...
One not long after the divorce...theother 2-3 yrs ago
To be quite honest with you....I don't think I am mentally or intentionally "Looking" for someone....Don't think I could handle the responsibility of a relationship again..
Quite comfy as I am...Only have my grown up kids to consider if I make a decision about anything..Where to go...what to do...what to buy etc etc etc...And they apart from my youngest live and lead independent lives from me...
If something happens romance wise it will happen naturally....Not by me forcing the issue...Hence I never use any dating sites etc...Though for some reason I keep getting ads popping up on the puter all the time with Ladies in my age group in my area...
I think I could be interested if she was a domsestic/camping Goddess who was also an expert angler..Liked walking (Dogs or otherwise)Did a bit of watercolor painting...Could do a bit of DIY...Didn't mind doing all the shopping....And Ideally would have just won the lottery......
Took a while for me to settle into the person I am just now...Don't know if I want that disrupted at the moment...All seems like too much hard work yon dating game....
