I know the song u mean it’s called lazy days but I’m not sure who sung it.
But these are the lyrics.
Lazy days and summer sunshine what a way to spend my time, playing games and having fun times in the shade I’m feeling fine. Dreamiiing of going on a holiday with sun and sea to places that I’ve never been before out of doors doing all the things I’ve always wanted too I’ll see the sights I’ll hit the heights and then I’ll have a lazy afternoon.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
No, that's not the one I mean.
I did once ask the choir mistress at the other School in the village, and she said she thought she knew the one and would look out the music, but never did. I'll ask her again next time I get a chance.
This prompted me to look up Barretts of Feckenham, where my parents bought a tent in the 1960s. They are no more but there is quite a bit of info online. Said tent was a large ridge tent with a green and white striped fly sheet. We got it in the end, but alas it died in a gale.
My daughter was a child of the 80s but I don't remember her singing any of those. I was haunted for a very long time by 'Five little Speckled Frogs' though! Now, dare I click on that youtube link...? Hmm...
