A deserved winner with a beautiful voice on the "The voice".
Why on earth though must Will i am continually use the word "freaking" which in today's language is a euphemism for a foul swear word I cannot even write on here. And his continual "tweeting" during acts is disrespectful.
I used to respect the guy who has achieved a lot but.....
I never watched the voice for the main reason that I cannot stand William! In fact the only member of he panel that I do have any time for is Tom Jones but that is my choice. And talking of William, how did he end up carrying the olympic torch last year, I'm sure there were thousands of more deserving British cases who could have carried it. Is it becaues he is a "celebrity" that the modern day culture seems so obsessed with?
We missed the voice, but I agree about WillIam being ignorant and disrespectful It really makes me want to turn it off. I cant believe that the producers allow him his phone, especially after his stunt a few weeks ago where he told twitter the result before the live audience!
I used to have so much respect for him because he has achieved so much but not forgotten his roots, he still supports activities and small businesses "back in his hood", but how would he feel if he was performing and everyone in the audience started talking to each other?

I thought Matt and Jessie's duet was fantastic, for once, contestant and mentor actually sang a duet. They certainly had chemistry.
My OH recons that they will record it.

Andrea was a worthy winner...she'll attract the same type of audience as Susan Boyle though, not exactly mainstream.
Matt let himself down in his solo performances, but his duet with Jesse was fantastic, sounded like 2 actual singers, not a singer and their apprentice.
I watched it and have to say I did wonder who was voting for her because I couldn't find anyone that liked her......including me, now I know.
I wanted Leah to win but I'm sure this will not be the last we have seen of her and almost as sure that I will never see Andrea again if previous reality singing shows are to go.

think the torch thing was about sponsorship and advertising "coke"[the drink!!!]needed a "celeb" to highlight Taunton , he too like others on here have said gets on my t****!!!!...

Well I think Will-I-am makes the show! He's mad and hilarious - its all part of his theatre, I think he's genius. No doubting the beauty of Andrea's voice made the hair stand up on my skin, but the winner was Leah for me. Great show, loved the duets.

I agree that Andrea has a beautiful voice but I'm afraid I think she lacks oooomph - I was bored watching her - no movement whatsoever. And before anyone berates me regarding her sight I know that but a swing to the ryhthm would have made her more interesting to me. Leah was so obviously the judges favourite I think it would have put voters off.
And just an interesting aside - i know 2 people personally who have appeared on the voice. We all talk about how can contestants choose such a poor song? The answer is - they dont! In both instances the contestants put forward dozens of songs, all of which were vetoed by the Producers, for whatever reasons, till eventually they came up with an agreed song. All of which makes me think the show is very much contrived with the "favourites" chosen and their chances increased from the beginning - or rather others' chances decreased.
I'm with Fiona in liking Will-I-am. He brings a lot of humour to the show. He is a very talented songwriter and producer.
I have enjoyed watching the 1st 2 series of The Voice but doubtful I'll be watching if theres a 3rd season. I was hoping Leah won.

I'm mixed on Will-i-am. At times I find him funny, but other times cringe-worthy. His constant need to be tweeting on his phone was irritating to say the least, bordering on downright rude (but that coming from me, someone in their 40s, and I can also see how it would appeal to the younger audience) and a couple of his selection/elimination choices were baffling. On the other hand both the wife and I thought that Will-i-ams final and semi-final 'duets' with his team were brilliantly staged. As I said, mixed on him but overall I do think he adds a different dynamic to the show that the others don't.
As for the winner, I'll admit I though Leah had it won, but I was pleased for Andrea. Her voice is amazing and so well controlled but I was hoping she'd do something a bit more upbeat in the final i.e something along the lines of her quarter-final song (more traditional Irish with the group behind her).
I also though Leah was amazing, such a versatile and unique voice. I'd be shocked if she doesn't get a recoding contract despite not winning, and in the long run I'd bet on her being more successful than Andrea if she works at it. I think her loss comes down to one thing, the demographics of the voting public. Leah's musical style probably appeals more to a younger audience, but on a live Saturday night vote it's the older audience that's sat in front of their TV with the phone to hand.
