I was in London today in Regent Street and I saw 3 Christmas trees already erected but not decorated!

We haven't had Haloween or Bonfire night yet!!

I give up

Dressing city streets takes weeks,, its not like doing it at home. Switch on is 13 November so work is required now.

There's one outside a pub in Nottingham. I think it is to advertise Xmas bookings rather than decorate though.

Went in the garden centre at the weekend. All prepared with the Christmas decorations. Had to look again, yes its still September, and a few days before Autumn starts.

I took a huge bag of Decorations to the charity shop last week as thought it a good time to finally get rid. (these are good decorations that we bought when we had a pub and they have never been used, still have the labels on them, someone will be happy with them I hope)Never too soon to start planning.

I was out with the dog the other evening, passed a pub with a board outside with the legend 'book now for xmas' . I mean, A lower case 'b', honestly.

Dance before the storm and don't look back to where you've been.

If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, you obviously haven't grasped the gravity of the situation.

I don't want it I just need it.

What do people by for work colleagues at Xmas? Our office tend to buy fairly expensive presents for each other so I'm a bit stuck as to what to get. My only idea so far has been corporate hampers from a company called Virginia Hayward

Anybody else got any ideas? Want to get this sorted early!
