Anglebox, you made me cry.............we too had to put our baby out of his misery in June, Christmas will never quite be the same without our Christmas kitten.
We have his ashes and his photographs in the lounge.
We now have two very beautiful British Short Hair silver tabbys, a spotte girl called Daisy and a striped 'beast ' called Benjamin.

Sent too soon... Daisy and Benjamin are now 7 months old, and a pure delight.Every day I can'twait to see them. After just 4 months they are part of our lives. Only people who have pets understand the amazing bond and the total heartbreak when we part.
I stayed up all night with Burberry hoping he would pass away in his sleep, but he was as strong as na ox and wouldn't give up. I live with the guilt that I shortened his life but he was in such pain and just staggered around in the last hours...he staggered to his water and just shook....terrible thing to see.
Benjamin and Daisy can never replace Burbs' but we have two delightful creatures who lighten our day, every day...and night. We know that what we learned with Burberrfy we can pass on to these two terrors.
One things is for sure, they are great company for each other, and I wish we'd had two cats before.

Thanks Roy
We lost our beloved retriever on Christmas day last year aged 10. I still miss her dreadfully and now that Lottie has gone too...well can't speak really!
I suppose I'm out the other side now having already made the terrible but most loving decision to do ensure that they did not suffer. Hopefully wont have to deal with that again for few years although the rescue dog is age unknown, but fit at mo!
