Thinking about starting my old dog on glucosamine as he's beginning to stiffen up and it worked wonders for my last dog. Rather than pay the vet's prices as I did last time, can anyone recommend an online outlet please?
Plenty of tablets on the market out there but we used Mark and Chappell Arthriti-UM Plus 60 tablets for our old arthritic GSD and they worked wonders. I have bought from many online outlets over the years (for all pet stuff)to name but a few including:
Pet Planet
Viovet
Pet Meds
Pet Supermarket
All much the same customer service wise, just best to shop around for best price, best P&P and quickest delivery.
I use the holland and Barrett ones, I just ordered him some last night cause they've got the "buy one and get the second one for a penny" sale on just now

Tried my 10 year old sprocker on doggy Glucosamine as well as on codliver oil for more than a year - with not significant results. She is now on 'Joint Aid for Dogs', which gets sprinkled on her dinner; one month on and we can see the difference in her.
When we got our dog she was 8 years old and suffered a little bit of stiffness in one back leg. We switched her to fish based kibble and give her one sea jerky treat from Fish 4 Dogs each day and thankfully that has been enough to clear the problem up, her skin and coat has also improved considerably.
I give mine a tin of sardines in oil (oil squeezed out mostly) once a week and that keeps her in good condition. Have the same myself (only the tomato sauce equivalent!).
