18 months ago we bought a mover from Riversway Leisure and were very happy with the mover. A couple of weeks ago on returning with the van it started playing up with no soft start and moving about 8" to side before travelling straight. A call to riversway diagnosed a faulty control box. 24 hours later a new control box arrived and when fitted cured all the problems. It's the first thing we have bought from Riversway but after such friendly and prompt service it will not be the last.

Nice to see someone post a positive note about a dealer, so many times we only here about the problems people have had with various dealerships, I think we should see more of the positive posting as above.

Could I ask if you fitted the MM yourself or was it fitted by Riversway.

The reason I was asking was that I also purchased MM 13 months ago from Riversway.
It was a Powrtouch HD and I got it fitted by their engineer, not had any problems with it but was worried when Riversway went bust and was concerned about my 5 year parts and labour guarantee.

I phoned Powrtouch to see if Riversway had registered my MM with them, they had but didn't give the serial number.
That is all sorted out now though.

I just wondered if they had maybe not registered your MM but all seems to be good for you

I believe any warranty is with Powrtouch, as opposed to who sells/fits it.

I was told (by my fitter) that they come out wherever you are if you have a fault, whilst in warranty.

Yes thats is the case with Powrtouch. That was one of the reasons I asked the OP who fitted it , as I was wondering why Riversway dealt directly with the OP in dealing with his issue rather than Powrtouch.

It may well be another make of MM the OP has??
