Hi all we are away camping.enyone take a slow cooker
away with them?i'm useing mine all the time got a roast in today
hot pot tomoz &endless things to cook in it.
Do a search, slow cookers have been discussed a number of times on this forum. I'm yet to take mine camping but I do think it is a great bit of kit!

Cant beat a bit of stewing meat with chips or mash,the more its heated the better it gets.I like it really thick and just a hint of garlic as the meat cooks really brings out the flavour,Slow cookers are cheap but even if they cost £100 it would be well worth it
I love my slow cooker.
I have a family size one for the house and a small one for camping/ in the caravan as I often go away on my own but still want to eat well!
I have a 1ltr slow cooker, it's a ideal size, as I'm on my own.
The last time I was away, mid September, I threw a chicken breast, tin of new potatoes, and a tin of peas/carrots in it. First thing in the morning on low.
Spent 6 hours underground in a Slate Mine, and got back to a perfectly cooked hot meal, ready to be served.
I would not be without mine now.

Isn't it lovely to come home after a day of doing whatever to a meal that's there waiting for you! I often do a job lot, my slow cooker is 3 1/2 litres. It's brilliant.
